Notes on the Reinvention of Jaime
Today I had virtual business retreat. The creator sends kits that have seasonally appropriate imagery and today’s kit included a little golden spoon for the tea she sent and a paper coaster for the tea bag, which was very cute.
Unfortunately, she had to cut the retreat short because her internet went out. Apparently it was out city-wide, so she was off for about twenty minutes. I was a little bummed that she ended it half an hour early. It was good to have the time to reflect, but I felt a little rushed at the end.
Afterward, I scrolled for a bit and then finally got started on the floors.
I vacuumed, mopped, and steamed them. Then I washed Goose and Luna. I couldn’t find Darcy at first because she has been taking naps in secret places. I eventually found and washed her, and now she’s on my lap under a towel trying to get warm. She’s still shivering a little.
I’ve also washed some bedding because a cat threw up on it.
So fun. 😂
For Etsy, I’m counting the retreat because I did plan some modifications to current listings that are already popular. I’m not planning to mess with the things that are working. I want to take those ideas and make variations.
I didn’t actually jump on Etsy today because getting the floors and animals clean was the priority.
My delight for the day was my breakfast and webinar setup. There is something I really enjoy about making a little cozy setup for myself before settling in to learn.
And I had a really good breakfast and lunch, plus two walks in the midday sun for some vitamin D, so that’s my health win.
Now going to bed before midnight!
