Connection and accountability as a business owner

I have focused in recent months on finally getting accountability and monthly encouragement as a business owner. It has been good to see how other people are running their businesses and even though I occasionally get overwhelmed, I’ve also received a lot of great ideas and gotten unstuck.

I thought I’d share a few of the things I’ve been doing in case it is helpful to others.

I joined the Female Entrepreneur Association

This membership from Carrie Green is FILLED with helpful advice, classes, live goal-setting calls, workbooks, and so much more. There really is a wealth of information.

They just released a new CEO dashboard, which has been so much fun and really helpful to see where my stats are.

Enrollment is not open right now, but you can click here to join anyway, if you’re interested (and at a discount!).

Social Squares stock photos and BUSINESS training

I’ve actually had a membership to Social Squares for a while now. I do occasionally use the absolutely beautiful images, but because of my years as a photographer, I still have hang-ups over not using my own work. Which is silly, because I can’t photograph everyTHING and everyWHERE.

What I love most about it is the business training. Shay Cochrane, who owns the company, has such great priorities around her work and family, and the classes offered through the dashboard and live in most months are super valuable. There is a helpful Facebook community for members as well.

Michelle Rohr’s The Secret Owl Society

I stumbled on Michelle’s products on Etsy several years ago and even favorited her planner. But there was a bundle giveaway during the holidays of 2021 where I got Yadsia’s helpful, short course on digital stickers, and through her I found Michelle Simpkins of Wild and Solo and through HER rediscovered Michelle Rohr.

I love Michelle’s outlook on life and purchased her planner course and digital planner template, which led me to get her Planner Girl Insiders membership. She is SO helpful to me for mindset. Michelle, who partners with Aimee Johansen, has lots of good, free information on her YouTube channel and Podcast which are called The Magic Is You.
